No Color

Nature provides just about every color under the sun. Our product is formulated without any artificial colors - any color is gained only from the essential oils and other natural ingredients used in our formulations. You may find these colorants in pretty much anything you’ve ever used on your hair, skin & body or as a hygienic product many times can contain a synthetic dye of some sort.

The colouring agent may be used to simply cover up any discoloration that may come with the aging of the product. Or to simply even out the colour of something that’s not visually appealing in its original, non-enhanced form. The more exotic the colour, the more likely you are exposing yourself to an even greater chemical cocktail.

No Synthetic Fragrance

Natural fragrances have greater perceived value as they are believed to be greener and more sustainable by many consumers. Our product is formulated with natural fragrance derived from almond that imparts a wonderful aroma to your application. Synthetic fragrances can be stronger, longer lasting, more complex, sophisticated and less expensive than natural fragrances.

However, Synthetic aromatic raw materials have either been chemically created (mostly from petroleum), or started as naturals and have had their chemical structure modified.

No Mineral Oil

Mineral Oil is a by-product of refining crude petroleum. Pure oils nourish your hair, but mineral oil may harm your hair. Regular use of mineral oil-based hair care products may cause scalp build-up, premature greying, dandruff, and even hair fall.

We promise every pack of Amadora luxury hair oil is 100% mineral oil-free. We only use pure oils. Pro tip: Mineral oil has many names - Liquid Paraffin, LP, LLP, Paraffin Wax, White Petroleum, etc. Watch out for these in the ingredient list the next you go shopping for a hair oil.

No Parabens

Parabens are preservatives used in hair care products to prevent bacteria formation and extend the shelf life. Studies have shown that parabens can penetrate our bodies. When used in personal care products that can penetrate the skin & scalp, they may have harmful side effects such as loss of hair colour and hair fall. No PEG
